Title: Panic
Characters/Pairings: Gabriel Hellworth III, The Oldest
Rating: PG
Warnings: Possible Anxiety
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
A sense of dread filled him, for before him, was one of those utterly defining moments of one’s life. Huddled on the floor in front of the dais, Gabriel heard whisper soft footsteps of the Old One approach from the hidden throne.
His magic would not be able to save him now; not the magic bestowed upon him by the oldest, the one who was seeking retribution for deeds undone. Panic and fear ran kitty-corner through him as he heard the voice of the Oldest.
Softer than a lover’s sigh but louder than a Cathedral bell, “Gabriel. It is time.”
Title: Dream
Characters/Pairings: Silver
Rating: G
Warnings: none
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
He woke with a start; sweat quickly cooling his skin leaving him feeling cold and clammy.
The room was darkened, except for the occasional flash of blue from the neon signs across the street, adding an eerie quality to the bedroom.
The bed was empty as it was most nights, however – tonight, Silver would have even accepted Gabriel’s company.
Someone to keep the demons at bay, even if Silver felt most company he kept lately was nothing but demons.
For the moment, Silver was willing to do almost anything to get the dream and its echoes out of his mind.
Title: Melancholy
Characters/Pairings: Death God
Rating: G
Warnings: none
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
Rattled were the bare boned trees, who heaved and sighed with every passing breath of wind.
Night slipped its arms around the tall pale man, creating stark shadows that arched and swayed as he passed under harsh electric lamps.
The leaves crunched underfoot, releasing a pungent smell of earth; dry and brittle like parchment flesh of yester-years.
The Death God walked slowly, as he always had. Time was nothing to one who has been around since the dawn of creation.
He figured he would be happy here, the memories were varied, both bad and good, but not at all melancholy.
Title: Question
Characters/Pairings: Silver
Rating: G
Warnings: none
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
Things were wrong, or not wrong but different. So very different than how things were. It hurt him so much, to the quick really, that things changed so much.
He longed to have Thayne hold him and tell him that things would be okay between them. Silver knew it wouldn’t be that way: had too many unanswered questions and they fought too much.
Fought about everything that meant anything to him and about nothing; the relationship they have, the relationship they didn’t have, to how Gabriel fit into their current lives.
Maybe he should just stop questioning for a while.
Title: Midnight
Characters/Pairings: Unnamed Brotherhood Member
Rating: G
Warnings: none
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
The world was quiet on the side of the mountain. There were no sirens of passing emergency vehicles screaming into the night, no gun shots echoing off of buildings to hurt the ears, no screaming or noises of fights or abuse.
He was met with serene silence, the soft rustle of wind blowing through tree tops, the night birds chirping or squawking and far off, he could hear the stream babbling and lapping against its bed.
A sigh escaped his lips. It was almost divine, however it wouldn’t last long.
The midnight hour approached and work need to be done.
Title: Sacred
Characters/Pairings: Gabriel/Thayne
Rating: R
Warnings: m/m sex
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
These moments are what he lived for: late nights in the apartment with Gabriel in his bed.
Gabriel’s tongue licked at past scars, his teeth creating new ones. His soft lips kissing all the way. Every sexual act that Gabriel did to Thayne was wondrous. No action was wasted nor was it hurried.
No sound was withheld; breathy sighs and whimpering moans, no plea was left unheard.
Limbs sliding against limbs, hands caressing chests, arms and hips. The feeling of Gabriel’s body pressing against his brought a smile to Thayne’s sex plumped lips.
Moments like this made him feel sacred.
Title: Temptation
Characters/Pairings: Gabriel/Silver
Rating: PG
Warnings: m/m implied kissing
Word Count: 100
Series: Unnamed NaNo WriMo
Author's Notes:
A confused pout was on Silver’s face. Gabriel stood a foot away, smiling a delightfully sinful grin. A grin, that was all for Silver. No words were said, just the smile.
Silver’s mind offered him images of Gabriel’s body, thrusting, touching and giving pleasure. A flush crept over Silver’s body, a shiver from the thoughts, the temptation of things that might happen.
Silver thought of how to word this sudden want and Gabriel moved closer, and smiled wider, a knowing look in his green eyes; closer yet he crept.
Silver could feel Gabriel’s breath hot against his lips. Too tempting.
